This weekend we drove around the area - Jemez Springs, Ojo Caliente, Mendanales. This picture is from Soda Dam, a sulphurous waterfall just a few minutes outside of Jemez Springs. Nathan was kind enough to point out the attraction to my as you can see here in this photo.

Besides having hot springs, Jemez is also home to a Zen monastery AND a nunnery, I believe called something along the lines of Bleeding Hands.
