career quest update

I talked to my career coach, Anthony this morning. It had been a few months - but I have finally made progress. I told him about my various informational interviews I've been doing, and he encouraged me to do five or six more of them.

He also mentioned that another one of his clients came across my website while searching on one of the terms the program uses. How cool! Second person now who is or has been in the program who has visited the site. Anthony said he would like to start a forum for everyone in the pathfinders program to chat in. I think that is a great idea.

What else? I'm going to go spend a day with the adobe program at Northern NM Comm. COllege next week - see what the program is like, talk to the teacher, etc. I am very interested in this program - it is a one year certificate in adobe construction.

Also, I learned yesterday that the Taos Chapter of Habitat for Humanity builds adobe houses - sounds pretty cool.
