I love my cold frame! Last fall, Nathan and I put up a 10 inch high box that is covered with a sheet of plexiglas in the garden next to the house. It took a while for things to grow, but these days I have spinach and broccoli Raab. Todays burritos will have broccoli raab in them.

Speaking of gardening, it is time to plan out what I want to grow this summer. According to iCal, I planted my first veggies outside on the first of May, so I need to start my seedlings around the beginning of March. Also, there are certain veggies, like beets, that I could probably start fairly soon, especially in the unfrozen ground right next to the house.
