blue woolly speedwell

Blue Woolly Speedwell is another plant I think would be great for a living roof.

High Country Gardens calls it "one of our finest xeric groundcovers."

It grows fast, has pretty blue flowers, and has shallow roots. Perfect! By the way, the pic is from the High Country Gardens website. They are the same as Santa Fe Greenhouses (where I like to spend my money), but also have a rip-roaring online business with tons of awesome plants. By the way, have I mentioned that they sell gift certificates? (Nathan's mom got me one last year and I spent it on all sorts of cute plants and seeds.)
